Dragster #7 - "The Yellow Car"

In 1997, the racing bug bit again and the search began for a new race car. A 1964 dragster, very similar to the Stuckey car, was found and purchased in Ohio. The car was rebuilt and updated. The seventh GSTA car had 8 drivers and had been worked on by over 40 different members. The best time was 8.2 and top speed of 162MPH. After not being recertified as a sub-10-second car, it was used as a training car for several years. The “Yellow Car” was recently sold to make way for GSTA dragster # 8.
