Kids as young as 5 years old can make a pass in a Jr. Dragster.  The age requirements are 5 to 18 years old.  Cars run an 1/8 mile and can reach speeds of 85mph.  There are different classes for the different age groups. 5 year olds are only able to make single runs as a "Trainee".  At age 6 they can start to compete against other similiar aged kids.  For more information on the Jr. Dragster program, visit the following link: http://jrdragster.nhra.com/
